Frequently Asked Questions
Treatment is given in person at the clinic, and a licensed provider confirms what is appropriate for you first.
Do I need a consultation first?
Yes. Both are prescription-only. A licensed provider sees you in person, reviews your health history and decides whether either is appropriate before anything is prescribed.
What does the monthly price include?
The medication at whatever dose you are on, your check-ins with the provider, and injection training. The price does not change when your dose does.
What is the difference between semaglutide and tirzepatide?
Semaglutide acts on one gut hormone receptor, GLP-1. Tirzepatide acts on two, GLP-1 and GIP. Your provider explains which, if either, suits you.
Do you ship medication?
No. Treatment is given and supervised in person at the clinic in Sherman Oaks. We do not mail medication.
Prescription required. Treatment is provided only where a licensed physician determines it is clinically appropriate after an in-person evaluation, and not everyone is eligible. Weight-loss medication is intended to be used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. Individual results vary and no particular outcome is guaranteed. Some treatments are compounded preparations. Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient and are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are dispensed. Pricing is per month and subject to change.
